Homemade Pie Crust
I realize that this is probably the most boring picture to post, but it’s not really about the picture. It’s about the fact that I actually made a pie crust from scratch! That’s right, not only did I get it to stick together, but it also didn’t stick to the counter. Simple for most of you I’m sure, but not so much for me! I was so excited that I couldn’t even finish putting the pie together until I took a picture, floury hands and all. Hopefully it actually tastes good, and is nice and flaky the way Mom likes it.

For 10 years I created realistic miniature horse tack, and dabbled in pastel finishwork. I had to lay down my carving knife and brushes due to arthritis, and have recently picked up a camera instead. Art and horses have always been my 2 greatest loves (besides the hubby, of course), so I combine them whenever I get the chance. I reside in coastal NH with my husband and 2 cats.
